In 1983, the summer before their 8th grade, something happened that changed four girls' sleepy little town. ‘Juniper Woods’ is a story of 4 tween girls who embark on an accidental adventure into the woods around their town of Juniper. With a rise of mutilated animals found at the edges of town, citizens talk of a rabid animal, but the kids start to investigate after evidence is not matching up. Could it be a monster living in the old copper mines in the woods north of town? It’s all fun and games until a kid from the neighborhood goes missing, and summertime mystery solving turns real when following vultures leads to a corpse in the woods. Police and parents are looking for a stranger in town, but the kids have their own suspect. And the kids might just be right.
